Both the chief and McDonald’s should sue the crap out of the fake hate crime cop.

Long in the ghetto, that new, weird ambition has infected cops.

Herington Police Chief Brian Hornaday shared an unedited version of the photo on Facebook, captioning it, This is what he paid for. Although I understand this is likely the act of one person and not a representation of the company, when it was brought to their attention the company offered him a free lunch. No thank you. A Big Mac and large fries doesnt make up for it. The US Veteran who continues to serve deserves much more. This is not only bad for McDonald's, but is also a black eye for Junction City. Well, no longer a black eye for McDonald's and Junction City - but a BIG black eye for the PD.

I thought so as well. WTH are these people thinking? Are they that starved for attention that they have to resort to whatever this is?

Here in NJ this would ruin a family financially; those are upper middle-class jobs (with great benefits and employment for life), and very difficult to replace.
What a stupid thing to do...

“The incident caused a stir on social media over the weekend and resulted in criticism of the fast-food giant.”
What kind of ‘stir’? Given social media these days, I assume they mean non-stop congratulations for the (supposed) McDonald’s worker.

Well, 98.7% of this sorta crap comes from the left but every once in a great while our side is responsible.
Unlike the other side though we will take responsibility for the misguided behavior and accept the shame that goes along with it.

99.9% of "hate crimes" are fabricated.
Just people looking for attention.
Fact is, in this day and age, it would be nearly impossible to pull an actual "hate crime" off for real. For example, everything at a McDonalds restaurant is recorded on video. Everything. The drive through, the kitchen area, the counter area, the seating area. Even the parking lot.
No fast food worker at any major chain is going to be able to scrawl a hate message on a paper cup without it being on camera.

Dana Cook said video surveillance proved his workers committed no wrongdoing. Sometimes the universal surveillance society bites the police in the ass. This must be the reason why SWAT teams and the FBI like destroying surveillance cameras as a first step in a raid and why, if you do put in your own cameras, you better have some extra small size ones hidden so that you can record the obvious ones being destroyed by criminals on either side.
