Update: In exchange for Emily Salazar’s resignation, 42 hours of back pay will be paid in the settlement between her and the Kern High School District.
The settlement states that Salazar will be paid back pay and for her administrative leave through April 30, 2019. The 42 hours of back pay came from when Salazar worked an extended day of twelve hours for an academic decathlon and 30 hours for multiple times she served as a period substitute for the 2018 to 2019 school year.
Along with her resignation, the settlement states she is no longer allowed to work or have a business relationship with the KHSD.
Salazar can be denied employment if she ever applied for employment in the future with the KHSD.
Salazar’s teaching credential is still valid in California and her benefits are secure under state and federal law, including the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985(COBRA).

Interesting how Libs in school suddenly get all puritanical. If she was in a lesbian relationship, it’d be just fine. But somehow because she chooses to be a swinger, the school gets all judgmental. Liberals are so very consistently inconsistent.

Salazar’s high school is in Bakersfield, CA...It is in Kern County...President Trump won Kern County by 13% in 2016 election. I am thinking that school board in Kern County is probably not as liberal as the school board for Los Angeles Unified School District.
I am currently not a swinger but I would be willing to give it a try in the name of science.

In case of Ms. Salazar, her face is not shown most of time in the video clips...I guess her husband was very careful about not showing her face when filming...But, eventually her face did show up for a few minutes in some clip...I guess that is when a male student from her school recognized her...
This is my theory...This science teacher got thrills out of being in sex videos...Maybe she is one of those people who get excited about having a “double life”...Monday through Friday she teaches high school science...Then, on weekends, she has sex with a bunch of strangers in some hotel room...
God’s way is always the best way and ultimately leads to a more fulfilling and satisfying relationship than indulging in perverse behaviors. As far as whether or not one living like that can successfully teach, there are probably many who do who haven’t posted videos online. Until a student exposed her, Ms. Salazar did not seem to have a problem separating work and pleasure...
I have not heard that she talked about her sexual fantasies in front of her students...If she ever did that,some students would have complained to the administration...
What if she just sticks with teaching chemistry to students and not talk about her sexual exploits at all?
I would not defend swinger activities as virtuous...No, I would not.
But, I read about male teachers who behaved worse than she did...There was a high school football coach who had sex with a female student on campus. This was a big district in Los Angeles County...State authorities revoked his teaching license.
Ms. Salazar still has her teaching license.
