I live right out of Austin, TX, and for a long time in San Antonio. I am very familiar with 100+ temps, and 104 in summers here is really not unusual. I’ve spent many summers in Phoenix- THAT gets hot.

I worked for 10+ years in
Houston. The humidity at
times was unbearable. I
departed a plane in Pheonix
where it was 112 deg at midnight.
Australia will survive. They’re
tough and know what to expect.
Hot is Hot.

Yeah hot. I was there one summer and put on my seat belt/shoulder restraint. It did not take me long to pop them off. The shoulder restraint felt like it was branding me.

I am from S Texas where we see heat but not like this.

In that kind of heat, it’s all about finding shade (when outside) I lived in Corpus for a while. It was always pretty windy. Once you go inland a bit, my God!
