Immigration and Customs Enforcement Begins Process of Deporting DACA Recipients

Immigration and Customs Enforcement has started filing claims to begin deporting illegal aliens who were protected under Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals or DACA.

The agency has recently began reopening administratively closed deportation cases and told CNN earlier this month that all DACA recipients can expect the same.

Notice Pelosi and Schumer are completely silent on this? They never cared in the first place. Nevertheless, this has been a long time coming and President Trump deserves our gratitude for tackling this crisis.

Help Mexico develop a class of citizens who are fully capable in IT. We can import them, they send monies back home, everyone wins.

Then, DACA can stay except criminal element.

Saw a brief show on TV the other day about “American” DACA’s who were deported to a country they have never been to: Mexico.

The report was designed to elicit sympathy about “their Plight”.

Nope, Nada, no pretendo.

They committed serious and crimes and should have known they are held to a standard as provisional citizens who cannot commit those serious crimes for which they were found guilty of and deported on that basis.

If someone is here as a DACA, I don’t care. Keep your nose clean and have a great life raising your families in America.

Trump has made it very clear - on several occasions - that he is NOT going to deport any DACAs unless they have committed serious crimes.

He offered that exact deal to Democrats about one year ago in exchange for Wall Funding, which the Democrats refused.

ICE is NOT actively searching for DACAs.

ICE is simply re-opening Deportation cases that were unlawfully suspended by Immigration Judges.

Some of those cases belong to people who ALSO applied for DACA.

The 350,000 number has nothing to do with DACA.

350,000 is the total number of Deportation cases that were unlawfully suspended.

Trump's DACA Supreme Court case is pure political theater.

Trump does not need to legally “end” DACA.

The “D” in DACA stands for “Deferred Prosecution.”

Trump can stop deferring prosecution and enforce our existing Deportation laws ANY time he wants to.

The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 gives Trump the statutory and executive authority to deport the DACAs.

As long as Trump enforces the exact language in the INA 1952, a federal court cannot even review Trump's decision.

But, Trump is never going to do that except - maybe - for DACAs who commit serious crimes.

All DACA recipients whose deportation cases have been administratively closed 'by immigration judges' can expect to see them reopened.... immigration judges DO NOT have the general authority 'to suspend indefinitely' immigration proceedings by administrative closure, such cases must be resolved one way or another.

Most are aware that a low percentage of DACA people make it through high school... Even fewer through college. Many end up pregnant at 15 or become criminals/gang members (then dead or in jail) while others are day labors or work in low wage jobs.....

Further, most DACA recipients that were born here as anchor babies are now in their 20s and 30s. And they have shown NO desire to become naturalized citizens. That was 'the condition of their DACA status' was to allow them time to go through the naturalization process without being sent back. .... but being DACA recipients 'Everything is free', if they naturalize, they have to support themselves fully, or have a citizen sponsor them until they can support themselves.
