You have to be a few fries short of a happy meal to enter a church to shoot random strangers.
Thats what terrorists do.
Just seems like a two-bit criminal who has drifted around the Southwest for the past couple of decades, racking up various misdemeanors and a few felony charges...wonder what set him off that he decided to shoot up a church?
Seems like a new variation of suicide by cop, basically. And these perps are seeking notoriety in death.
this habitual criminal was allowed to walk around free because every time he was arrested the prosecutors took the easy way out and allowed to plea to a misdemeanor. It is shameful.
Convicted felon..got a gun anyway..if criminals want to get guns, they will..only way to combat that, have a good guy with a guy take out a bad guy with a gun
2008 arrested for felony aggravated assault
2009 warrant for unpaid traffic ticket
2013 arrested misdemeanor theft of property
2015 warrant for unpaid traffic ticket
2016 arrested unlawful possession of a weapon
Don’t you mean another “young, atheist Democrat”? Or is “atheist Democrat” redundant?

TEXAS MAN WITH SHOTGUN ARRESTED
LINDEN
Police responding to a report of a suspicious person taking photographs of an oil tank field in Linden found a Texas man toting a 12-gauge shotgun, authorities said.
Keith Kinnunen, 39, of River Oaks, Texas, was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and was being held Tuesday at the Union County jail in lieu of $20,000 bail, police Capt. James Sarnicki said.
Police received a report of a man on a bicycle on Lower Road, near the city Department of Public Works garage, Sarnicki said. He said the man was inquiring about taking photographs of the nearby Phillips 66 refinery. Officers discovered Kinnunen had a Mossberg .12 gauge shotgun and rounds wrapped in plastic and found arrest warrants for him out of Oklahoma for felony aggravated assault, Sarnicki said.

CHICKASHA Tampons soaked in lamp oil and then tied to a cotton stalk and lit was used to torch a cotton field near Tuttle in November 2011, according to an affidavit in a felony arson case filed Thursday in Grady County District Court.
Keith T. Kinnunen, 35, of Tuttle, is charged with third degree arson for “maliciously” setting the fire at 1400 S. Cimarron Road. If convicted, he could be sentenced to 15 years in prison and/or fined as much as $10,000.
A warrant for Kinnunen’s arrest is outstanding.
A Grady County deputy sheriff learned of Kinnunen’s involvement in the arson after talking to a young male relative and the boy's stepfather.
The stepfather told the deputy the youth was with Kinnunen for several days leading up to Thanksgiving and that on Nov. 22 and 23, Kinnunen had lit some fires, including the torched cotton field. According to the affidavit, the youth related that he was with Kinnunen when lamp oil and tampons were purchased. The youth also told the deputy that he and Kinnunen played “fire football,” in which a football is soaked in an accelerant, set on fire, and tossed back and forth. The youth said he knew the game was unsafe, but was afraid Kinnunen would become angry if asked to stop.
The youth said later that night he was a passenger in Kinnunen’s car when Kinnunen pulled to the side of the road, took the tampons that were soaked in lamp oil, tied them to a cotton stalk and set them on fire.
The stepfather added that he and his wife rented a trailer to Kinnunen, and after he was jailed Nov. 28 on an unrelated felony, they cleaned out the trailer and found half a bottle of lamp oil and a package containing two tampons. Not realizing then that the items were used in committing a crime, they threw them out, according to the affidavit.

Thanks all.
...good point.... and the article notes:
“Jack Wilson, whos the President of On Target Firearms Academy, and campaigning to be the Precinct 3 Commissioner, was the gunman who shot the Kinnunen.”
Mr Wilson was a “gunman”.....?? what crap.... I cannot believe the author of that article identified this hero as a “gunman”..... lousy journalism....
50 foot head shot by a firearms instructor finally sent the pos to the devil.
Jerks like this are not responsible for our gun laws.
Perhaps he was offered something in exchange for shooting up the church? Since he had a disguise, it looks like he intended to shoot, then get away, and not be identifiable.
WTH? A felon had a gun? Guess stricter gun laws would be an answer? Or, NOT.
Amen and bttt
It did seem like he was playing a “role” which didn’t mesh with any of his priors...kind of a Timothy McVeigh type?
Was this a set-up to create a specific scenario and Mr. Wilson’s excellent shot stopped it before it could be brought to fruition?
Yep, not a word about a motive or any social media. They scrubbed him clean, didn’t they?
My family doesn’t call 9-1-1.
They call me.
Odd timing considering the situation in VA.
