MAJOR BACKFIRE: Democrats REVOLT – Schiff And Pelosi Are Panicking
Explain Life ^ | Dec. 30, 2019 | Martin Walsh

The Democratic-controlled House of Representatives committed political suicide two weeks ago and passed both articles of impeachment — obstruction of Congress and abuse of power — against President Donald Trump.

After leading the most partisan impeachment inquiry in modern American history, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is refusing to send the articles of impeachment over to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell because she says Republicans won’t hold a “fair” trial.

But maybe Pelosi is refusing to send the articles to the upper chamber because she knows several Senate Democrats will defect and vote against the sham charges levied against the president.

As noted by Breitbart, there are at least 5 Senate Democrats in battleground states who will likely vote against impeachment:

Georgia Republican Sen. David Perdue said Thursday that a “couple” Senate Democrats will likely vote to acquit Trump during the Senate impeachment trial.

I don’t see a couple of democrat Senators voting to acquit as any sort of major rebelion. Even assuming that it happens. Certainly not a given.

More to the point, how disgusting is it that 95% of them will vote to convict on such ludicrous & manufactured charges?
That alone is proof of the wholesale corruption of the Democratic Party.

Democrat panic is not what it is cracked up to be. They merely resort to another deception and the MSM echoes and reverberates it to the outermost reaches of the universe and the Republicans pick it up and say, “Hey, this deserves to be investigated.”

Okay, here’s a fairytale:

Headline: Senate Democrats Vote for American Unity

Story: All 42 Democratic Senators voted along with the 53 GOP Senators to acquit President Trump of the House’s impeachment charges. Only Senator Sanders, an Independent lately pretending to be a Democrat, voted against acquittal.

“It’s time for the GOP and the President and the House Democrats to stop all the bickering and start working for the American people,” stated Senate Minority Leader Schumer, to loud applause from the Senate galleries just before the vote was taken.

In a poll taken immediately after the vote, Senator Schumer polled ahead of President Trump nationwide, a surprising result that perhaps illustrates the general public’s desire to end the political wars and get down to business. Senator Schumer said he is now considering his options.

(End of story)

I have heard that James is running a much better campaign this time around.

Apparently he learned from his mistakes.

The Communist Democrats claim Trump used the military aid and White House visit to leverage help for his personal benefit.

How would the investigation into Burisma personally benefit Trump if no crime took place?

That is how we need to frame this. Do not let the left frame the argument.

We have a mutual justice treaty with Ukraine...signed by President Clinton and ratified by the US Senate....it obligates each nation to assist the other with investigations.

Trump was fully within his rights to ask for an investigation into alleged crimes committed by Americans in Ukraine.

Communist Democrats wish to claim that because those crimes involve Biden, it is wrong for Trump to ask for an investigation.

Really?

So, running for office exempts you from investigation?

Then, why did Obama investigate the Trump campaign for ties to Russia? Wouldn’t that be impeachable under this standard?

If Nancy was worried about the Senate, she would be sounding the alarm over Judges, Abortion, Environmental policies and Social safety nets.

She knows the Senate is not up for grabs. This is about loosing the House of Representatives. More importantly, Her role as majority leader and her seat in the House.

The fact that Democrats in the House of Representatives are campaigning on impeachment, instead of their core policy agenda, speaks volumes about what they KNOW about the voter priorities in 2020.

Nancy, has been railroaded into a deadend by Schiff. She wanted impeachment but understood the evidence, voter support and Senate votes just aren’t there. She would have chosen to avoid this route had Adam Schiff not nudged democrat voters and media into falsely believing, He had the GOODS on Trump..

She was forced to jump into the impeachment process for the same political reason she was avoiding it, political self preservation. It’s a safe bet that Nancy will swiftly target Adam Schiff if the Election fails to recapture the Senate, or worse, cost them the House, or even worse - Her House Seat.

But maybe Pelosi is refusing to send the articles to the upper chamber because she knows several Senate Democrats will defect and vote against the sham charges levied against the president.

Pelosi is holding the articles of impeachment to limit the Democrats' disaster. She knows that if she transmits them to the Senate, there will be severe political and judicial consequences, even more so than now. But as long as she holds onto the articles of impeachment, she can and will claim that her House did its Constitutional duty but that the Senate would not. This all the while protecting Senate Democrats from taking a public stand, protecting House Democrats from testifying under oath and facing criminal charges, and protecting family/co-conspirators from testifying under oath and facing criminal charges.

Pelosi is putting party and personal interests before country, as always.

This is how Pelosi has her impeachment and eats it too.

We The People need to make Pelosi eat her sham impeachment. Force her to transmit the articles and have a real trial with criminal referrals for her treasonous scum. Or, properly insist that without transmittal of the articles to the Senate that there was no impeachment, just posturing. Either way, constantly rub her Botox filled face in it.

Never forget, Pelosi's impeachment is sedition!

[[refusing to send the articles of impeachment over to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell because she says Republicans won’t hold a “fair” trial.]]

Not her call to make- IF they impeach someone- they MUST hand it over to Senate regardless of what they, the liberals, want- that’s the rules on impeachment process- IF there is no trial for him to defend himself, he can’t be convicted of impeachment or exonerated- it is the heigth of judicial unfairness to impeach someone and not give them a chance to defend themselves- that is why the process MUST include a Senate trial- Nancy does Not get to make the call that the trial ‘will be unfair- therefore they won’t send the articles over to the house”

I also thought they needed 67 to impeach. A lot of people seem to be clutching their pearls over this. The dems need at least 20 republicans to convict. My opinion is that it won’t happen.

Another reason for the pause, they are currently threatening Senators in only ways that they can.

Manchin (D-WV) and Murkowski (R-AK) both vote “present” on both articles.

All other votes are along party lines

There is ZERO chance Manchin will vote for this...

Jones is DOA.. .but if he wants to try to hold his seat he knows he can’t vote for this...

NH senator knows she votes for it she’s done...

Tester and Ohio D’s both don’t face voters until 2024, so they may think they can get away with it ad people will forget by then... but I wouldn’t hold my breath.

AZ D up this term will almost certainly break with party as well.

THere is ZERO chance the Democrats will vote to convict unanimously in the Senate.. Hell they couldn’t even get unanimous D voting in the house for this sham.
