A little late now. Election Day was the day to fight. Oh well. They will have to live with it. I find myself having very little pity for the people of Virginia. The warning signs were overwhelming before the election.

This whole thing is nothing but an Intel Gathering operation by Soros and Bloomberg to see how much opposition the might face. Now, you’ll see a concerted effort to start getting rid of all the Constitutional Sheriffs in Virginia that have stood with the people. You’ll also start to see demographic shifts in various places as the Left, in a coordinated operation, starts settling Leftists/Illegals/Refugees in certain areas to change things.

They’ll chip away where they need to. The Left is very patient. That’s what folks get for voting for guys like Cantor for years and then letting guys like Brat get bounced out. Maybe if there were Republicans that actually ran in some of those races, Virginia wouldn’t be in this situation and maybe if the R voters showed up with the same motivation as the Left, Virginia may not be in this situation

I'd love to see Governor Blackface call out the National Guard,as has been suggested. It would take the President about 10 seconds to “Federalize” it,thus rendering the Governor totally impotent.

I’ve been reassured that if the anti gun grab bill ever goes into effect one of our “Trump” appointed judges will slap an injunction on the whole thing. /sarc

"Certainly one of the chief guarantees of freedom under any government, no matter how popular and respected, is the right of the citizens to keep and bear arms. [...] the right of the citizens to bear arms is just one guarantee against arbitrary government and one more safeguard against a tyranny which now appears remote in America, but which historically has proved to be always possible."

Hubert H. Humphrey

I wonder what the Vice President would say today about "which now appears remote".

Then, pick off the dissenters one by one. It’s the path of least resistance, ..”

It WAS the path of least resistance for, lo, these many years but don’t bet that people don’t understand the Democrats endgame which is now in plain sight.

At least in the Virginia Civil War we get to support the South against the North.

Will It Be Enough?>>>>>

That depends on whether a whole group of patriots pull their triggers when the liberal fascists come to deprive them of 2nd amendment rights.

If they fire, then the left will be defeated and sent into the dust bin of history.

The question is whether the left is willing to bleed to destroy the 2nd amendment or not. History shows them to be cowards in any cause.

Unfortunately, until men and women start to live and enforce their beliefs with the threat of their lives, nothing will be done. I believe the Governor of Virginia will run roughshod over the people until the people quit waiting on the courts and voters and start using the gun.

"I suspect, for all their bluster, Democrats will settle for the long game. Get the laws on the books. Get people used to them. Then, pick off the dissenters one by one. It’s the path of least resistance, and having the laws on the books is half the battle for these jackals. After all, selective “justice” has always been part of the Bolshevik playbook.

There was a post on FR a while back about how the loss of liberty is not a "sliding slope", but rather a staircase.. One step at a time in order to let the populace get use to the idea before moving on to the next outrage...

It’s amazing red Virginia lasted as long as it did with that huge sociopath magnet next to it drawing sociopaths from all over the US to settle and vote in VA. With the growth of the fed state in the last 40 years or so it’s a wonder this didn’t happen long before. Everyone should consider how their own state would do treading water with that ever-growing boat anchor attached to your state for decade upon decade.

The fed state should be rotated between all the states and regions so everyone gets their fair share of the misery. Let the fed bueracracy and the giant fed private support structure become rootless gypsies that vote by mail in their home state. Seems to me it would be a good trade off considering the high pay and fantastic benefits.

Fighting back? It may come to the point where the second amendment solution is the only one left. The thing to remember is that the primary targets are THOSE WHO GIVE THE ORDERS.

The NRA is finally getting in motion and has organized several town hall meetings in advance of the Senate Courts of Justice Committee hearing on January 13th. The NRA-ILA wants a large turnout to show the degree of opposition. In addition, the NRA-ILA is urging their membership to call or email the incoming Chairman well before the hearing. I am interested in everyone’s opinion of that later request. The Radical left looks like it is going to try and rush nerw gun control laws threw and might use any contact information given to the Chairman’s office as an initial list for direct action against gun owners. Any views?
