It’s not the police. It was caught on a live stream as it happened, an armed church member took out the bad guy as it was happening.

I had a full sized Ruger Security 9 on my hip while at church today. I used to carry a J-frame, but it occurred to me 15 rounds with a 4 inch barrel, decent sight radius and good sights might be better suited for self-defense in church. My j-frame still goes with me around town or hiking, where my most likely scenario is a “get off me” gun.
Lord willing, I’ll never pull either one except at the range. In modern society, churches are targets.
