Your technical view is incomplete, it omits that Biden is central to the Democrat’s Trump abuse of power narrative, that the President somehow affirmed to President Zelensky to continue inquiries into corruption including Biden’s actions.
Hence, Biden’s corrupt behavior is central to the President’s defense.
Personally I would prefer to see criminal indictments of the whole gang, Biden included.
This re-enforces the position that there should be NO trial. McConnell should stick it up their asses with a voice vote. That way no bad guy gets a heads up as to what the good guys have on him/her in a forum that has no power to jail anybody. And yes it is about Trump’s conduct. Let them find out what Barr and Durham when they read it in an indictment.
