We actually have several sanctuary 2A towns here in N.J. We are hoping that our town/county will follow suit.

The SC hasn’t taken it up because until now they haven’t had the votes, they might not even now with RINO Roberts. They heard oral arguments on the New York State Rifle & Pistol Association case on December 2.
Most of it was about whether the case was moot or not.
No one disputed the NYC law was unconstitutional.

Thanks for the link. When you said Thomas called the 2nd a “disfavored” right, I took that to mean he disfavored it.
I see he’s calling out the Judiciary for not supporting it even thought it is right there in the Constitution plainly worded.

Yeah, I know, but until Kennedy was replaced the SC couldn’t take the chance of hearing 2nd amendment cases.

Right.
Neither side knew where he would go with it.
Both feared his irrationality.

A fifteen dollar/hour minimum wage constitutional amendment will be on the ballot in Florida in 2020 for Dem GOTV efforts. Minimum wage increases like this help no one but hurt most. First of all when the price of all services go up; so do the prices. No/low skilled jobs will partially go away so instead of a raise they get laid off. Young people wanting part time entry level jobs will find there are none. Employers won't pay $15 an hour for someone who they have to train as well as pay that much for.
Fixed income people will not get a raise so they, in essence, get a pay decrease but will not be seeing an increase at the next federal level Social Security pay raise due to inflation because this doesn't factor into the feds inflation calculations.
Stupid people won't listen to reason but maybe you can reach enough reasonable people to inform them this won't have the intended effect.
A dollar 20 years ago is worth $.50 today at best. These wage laws make it worse; like maybe $.45.

A fifteen dollar/hour minimum wage constitutional amendment will be on the ballot in Florida in 2020 for Dem GOTV efforts. The purpose of this isn't to get a $15/hr. minimum wage (which would quickly destroy major portions of Florida's economy), but to get braindead teenagers and 20-somethings to the polls to vote. It worked exceptionally well last year when they paired completely unrelated ballot initiatives like banning offshore drilling and vaping, but it got us a complete ditz of an agriculture commissioner.
The Dems play voter strategy very well, and it gets their "Orange Man Bad" masses out to the polls.

Love that map every time I see it!!!
My city is that tiny green speck southwest of where the James River meets the city of Richmond. Chesterfield County to our north and west (lots of good 2A people; but, the Richmond ‘burbs outvote them!); Hopewell to our east and Petersburg to our south. (The latter two cities are both strongholds for U.S. Congressman Donald McEachin, the author of the, now infamous, quote about the Va governor “nationalizing” the Va. National Guard.)
In the immortal words of the late Lt.Gen. Lewis B. “Chesty” Puller, “We’re surrounded; that simplifies the problem!” (Chosin Reservoir)

Now campaign in the other 8% of counties to get rid of their elected rats.

Some of the other counties haven't come up for a vote yet. I'm aware of two counties coming up for a vote by mid January. I predict that by the end of January, at least 90 out of 95 Virginia counties will be 2nd Amendment Sanctuaries.

And the Second Amendment sanctuary movement is only the start. Next election, those people will be out and angry and armed with their ballots. Why wait? This might be a good moment to recall the communist governor of Virginia, don't you think?
And maybe a few other communists in the state government...

did not bother to vote in recent elections.
This is what drives me a little bit coo-coo. They did not even bother to show up. My wife and I and our 4 adult children all showed up together to vote at the local precinct. And it was all Democrats, all the time. They looked at us like we were space aliens.
