worked my a** off for 8 hours in a department store last Saturday. Sunday was almost as busy and today was crazy.

OMG I work in the grocery business I prepared all of the fruit and vegetable trays this weekend I could NOT make them fast enough I was exhausted had to tell people to do their shopping and come back OMG, NEVER, NEVER, have I seen it this busy NEVER!!!
Tried buying something yesterday and the line was a mile long. Fugetaboutit!!!

I didn’t go to ONE store this season Amazon delivered EVERY single item to my door, as much as I HATE Bezos this company is simply AMAZING I don’t know how they do it!! Costs me 120.00 a year for PRIME and never pay one penny for shipping!! I have not been into a brick and mortar store in at least 3 years there is not one thing you can not get on Amazon NOTHING!!! The ONLY thing I go to the store for are groceries, this company NOW delivers in just one day simply AMAZING!!!

Ditto!!! I cannot stand crowds, lines, overly loud environments etc...the online convenience, free shipping and, doorstep delivery are unbeatable.
Why anyone would subject themselves to the search for parking, the long lines and wait times, etc...of a Mall/Store environment is a complete mystery to me.
For certain items (furniture/appliances/bedding/window covering, etc...I visit an actual store (never during the holidays) because there are some things you simply must see and touch before you buy.
While all the retail sales is great, I have to take issue with developers building “Main street” type retail areas. Those are fine for southern California but in places like Colorado, where I live, I want to be able to go into a warm, heated mall away from the cold and wind at times. They have built those “main street” retail areas all over the place. It’s absurd they don’t recognize weather is different in different states.
And almost everyone says Merry Christmas! Three years ago we did not hear this. Thank you, President Trump.
