I call BS on her concern that it might be one of her children.
She is within commuting distance of some great towns to live in...some of the best in America.
There is no way that she would put her own children at risk by living in a crappy neighborhood.

My very first thought, too. A trauma surgeon should be able to afford to live in a very nice, low-crime town. Why continue to live in a ghetto putting your kids at risk from violence and gang/thug life?
