This exercise falls at the time of the Saturnists' (DS's) highest feast, the shortest days of the year. This ritual occurring when they've made it occur is NOT a coincidence. The demons are attempting to get maximum power for their farce.

Even with possibly heightened effect, it's not working too well for the DS, as the PDJT White House has been praying to the Living God earnestly every day.
