If a liberal SCOTUS justice were to suddenly pass away, I bet Pelosi would transmit those article in a split second.

heheheh. Who is he going to argue that to? The senate can’t conduct a trial until it is given an impeachment case, and the house hasn’t given the senate an impeachment case, because the house says the senate is a corrupt tribunal.

Democrats refusal to transmit the articles of impeachment to the Senate means there is no impeachment!

Hoist the Democrats on their extortion petard!

there’s zero impeachment unless and until the House files any charges with the tribunal (senate)

and meanwhile McConnell should adopt Senate rules barring any late-filings of such charges (or give her 24 hours from adoption if he wishes, whatever he does its entirely the senate’s perogative to set its own procedures). this will force Nancy to eat crow and start her fake impeachment process over if she wishes

He and Mitch should give them a deadline, otherwise the Senate passes a rule saying impeachment is over due to no-show by the managers and lack of charges.

That’s what would happen in any other court and it’s what people expect and understand.

The Senate has the freedom to make up it’s own rules about how impeachment is done within the few requirements the constitution places on them.

It’s time for Trump and the Republicans to do something bold and put these bitches in their place.

Pelosi told reporters on Thursday that the House would wait to deliver the articles until the Senate had laid out the rules for the trial.

It's CBS and it was a lib constitutional law "expert" who says he isn't impeached. The WH could be trolling.

But if Pelosi has put Trump on Double Secret Probation, and has directed that a letter be placed into his file, why should either Trump or Cocaine Mitch care? Why should we care?

How many taxpayer dollars have gone into this Democrat crusade to bring down president Trump? It’s all the Democrats have done since gaining a majority in the House. They’ve done nothing else. We all knew the swamp was going to fight back, because it’s an entity that wants to survive. The impeachment farce is only a diversion.

The House voted to impeach Mr. Trump on two articles of impeachment — abuse of power and obstruction of Congress

Like the Seinfeld show, the impeachment "is about nothing". No crimes, no misdemeanors, no nothing. A Seinfeld type impeachment.

... and Nancy Pelosi disenfranchised the vote of every democrat who voted to impeach.

It’s really simple Pelosi, just send the House managers to the Senate with the articles of impeachment.

Do it before Christmas, POTUS will thank you for the present.

The House must vote on a resolution designating impeachment managers to prosecute the case against Mr. Trump in the Senate before delivering the articles.

I would be interested in just where they got this?

Maybe they shouldn’t have voted until they had
the managers.

He should argue this, just because it will get under their skin.

The Senate should change the rules to say that only the Speaker of the House can be the “manager” and only the Speaker can present the case on the Senate floor during the trial. This could actually have the result of forcing her out of the Speakers chair, because the House Democrats likely won’t want her to be the one presenting the case.

Political payback is due.

instead of arguing it, why not just state it unequivocally and tell the Dems to prove it’s not true?

Now two days later, I'm lookin' to pee on the flapjacks of those that jabbered their keyboard lips at me wailing TRUMP IS IMPEACHED!.

But I'll settle on reposting this gem from Freeper Bon mots:
