Here are the photos from inside Mayor Pete Buttigiegs lavish, closed-door Napa Valley fundraiser that sparked a fierce back-and-forth with Sen. Elizabeth Warren during Thursdays Democratic debate.
The images, tweeted by Recode reporter Teddy Schleifer on Monday, show donors dining with the South Bend, Indiana, mayor in the Hall Rutherford wine caves, beneath a chandelier decked in 1,500 Swarovski crystals.
The wine caves also feature an onyx banquet table to reflect the chandeliers lights and bottles of Cabernet Sauvignon that sell for as much as $900 a pop.

900 bucks for a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon? Ridiculous! For that price, I could buy nearly 3 cases of an excellent Cab produced by my favorite winery, Lost Oak Winery, in Burleson, TX.
I admit that my palette isn't very refined, but two sips into my first glass of that Cab, I thought "this wine is too good for the in-laws." lol
I've taken friends from out of state to Lost Oak, and they have all been pleasantly surprised at the quality of the wine. Similarly, the wine produced in the Hill Country is also excellent.

Never use cave in an article about a gay guy. Not there’s anything wrong with that ;)

Snobbery is all about trying to get people to believe you have something they don’t.
I doubt that I could enough of a difference between a quality win for $20/bottle and a $900/bottle.

I doubt that I could tell enough of a difference between a quality wine for $20/bottle and a $900/bottle.
Me ether. But I can tell the difference between a good IPA and a pilsner.

I have no palette. I could buy a five liter box of that turpentine for $20 at Walmart and make it last three days.

On the other hand, think about all the wages he paid to the workers who built that for him.
He used his money in a way that help the normal working man.
This is a comment on people with money, not a democratic or republican. They help the community when they buy more than needed.
Just think how it would hurt the working people if he didn’t spend his money.
