One of the top impeachment witnesses the Democrats presented in their case against President Donald Trump, just took a hatchet to the plans of Nancy Pelosi to gain the upper hand against Senate Republicans in any trial against Trump.
Harvard Law professor Noah Feldman said in an op-ed on Thursday that Democrats have not yet impeached the president despite their vote last night.
Uh, oh!
Feldman’s op-ed at Bloomberg News comes as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is considering withholding sending the articles of impeachment to the Senate because she is worried that the political trial would be biased in favor of the president.
“So far we haven’t seen anything that looks fair to us,” Pelosi told reporters last night. “That would’ve been our intention, but we’ll see what happens over there.”
Feldman noted that “according to the Constitution, impeachment is a process, not a vote,” and that while a modest delay would not pose a problem, a lengthy delay would be a “serious problem.”

Yes, that is what I have been saying, a vote is not sufficient, it must be passed out of the House and to the Senate to be effective. Otherwise it is just a nullity and will die in the House without being ever taking effect.

who is going to tell trump he hasn’t been impeached yet. Perhaps he and his advisors are not as smart as thins guy. When clinton was inpeached by the house, everyone said he was impeached right after the vote. The democrats all came out on the lawn and sang cumbaya. What happened.
No, but they actually sent the impeachment to the Senate.
A grand jury can vote whether a case is "bill or no-bill." But if their decision isn't reported back to the DA's office, they didn't "return an indictment." Notice matters. It's a declaration that the process is complete.
It's obviously not complete here. They have no confidence in their case, so they don't dare move it to the next level, where it will likely die. Until they officially do, their poll of their members is an internal poll, and has done nothing.

Pelosi has flip-flopped on impeachment like a rabid flounder.
I can’t figure out her game (looks like she can’t either). The only “benefit” of impeachment for Trump haters is staining his Presidency in the history books. If House Dems fail to deliver it to the Senate, they blow that. Is it possible that some Senate Dems are balking at this garbage and will vote to dismiss with the R’s?

I repeat, trump thinks he’s impeached. He has some high brain power advisors, are they delusional and you take this other guys opinion over theirs.
