What does the Constitution say about when the Speaker MUST send the articles of impeachment to the Senate? Two weeks, until the next Congress, past precedent which is not enumerated btw. Since this is Trumps first term and assuming Trump is re-elected, could Pelosi hold the articles until mid-way into Trump's second term?

We are in uncharted territory and people are falling hook, lie, and sinker into a non-enumerated political mess. Dems and the media would go into overdrive if Republicans summarily dismiss the charges and then maybe people might start to think/ succumb to the war of attrition. If you are going to win, end it quickly with no questions remaining.

Trump needs to assert his Constitutional protections for a speedy trail and diffuse this audacious strategy dems are initiating.
