One of the top impeachment witnesses the Democrats presented in their case against President Donald Trump, just took a hatchet to the plans of Nancy Pelosi to gain the upper hand against Senate Republicans in any trial against Trump.
Harvard Law professor Noah Feldman said in an op-ed on Thursday that Democrats have not yet impeached the president despite their vote last night.
Uh, oh!
Feldmans op-ed at Bloomberg News comes as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is considering withholding sending the articles of impeachment to the Senate because she is worried that the political trial would be biased in favor of the president.
So far we havent seen anything that looks fair to us, Pelosi told reporters last night. That wouldve been our intention, but well see what happens over there.
Feldman noted that according to the Constitution, impeachment is a process, not a vote, and that while a modest delay would not pose a problem, a lengthy delay would be a serious problem.
(Sorry, Nancy, it gets even worse...)

It doesn’t any longer matter what “narrative” the msm pushes because the majority of people get their news from social media and the web.
Trump has a following on social media platforms of approximately. 100 million which is considerably more than the combined audiences of the major news outlets.
Its a different world.
It is not necessary to have conviction in order that impeachment is factual.
Bill Clinton was and remains impeached despite being found not guilty in the Senate. Impeachment in this case is another word for indictment.
Pass the cheese.
Nancy is worried about it being Fair , OMG what a Loser
She means fair to the prosecution, not the accused! So far we havent seen anything that looks fair to us, Pelosi told reporters last night.
they dint care much for fairness when it was in the house
Indeed!.....And every video camera within a mile will have failed or disappeared. EDKH.
Yes. The House must officially send the Articles to the Senate. But that delay is different from claiming the House hasn’t completed the inquiry and returned a bill. They have. The fact that they proceeded without doting every “i” and crossing every “t” of their own procedure shows that, in the final analysis, the “rules” are irrelevant.
But these are the 2019 Democrats, so that was already a given. Quite frankly, Democrat politicians and activists are about as trustworthy as the Iranians or Chinese or North Koreans.
It’s like signing a check for your electric bill in front of the public and a huge media display...
And then not mailing it to the company because they don’t invest enough in ‘new’ energy!
Seriously, it’s all a distraction.
No articles on the bipartisan vote against impeachment.
It's not about Nancy per se. From the Constitution, it looks as if the House could appoint anyone it chose to deliver the news and substance of an Impeachment officially to another part of the government. But I don't know of a legal process where written notice to a competent authority isn't critical to a process going forward.
While we're at it, in all processes I have heard of, legal notice must be rendered by an official copy that contains the assertion that the document in the receiver's hands is authentic (created by those having the authority to render it) and complete, with nothing omitted or added--as opposed, say, to what the Dems were doing with the words of the transcript of Pres. Trump's call to the Ukrainians.
Put it this way: If there exists no official notice and no official copy--just reports we've heard about and believe to be true--couldn't the Senate amend the Impeachment to its heart's content to achieve whatever outcome of the trial that it wanted?
