Widowed congresswoman Debbie Dingell on Thursday responded to comments by President Trump at a rally about her late husband, Rep. John Dingell, whom the President implied is looking up from hell and said her family are still hurting from the loss of her husband.
Trump said on Wednesday that he gave the family of the late Michigan representative A-plus treatment after John Dingell, the longest serving congressman and a WWII veteran, died.
Trump also claimed that his wife, Debbie Dingell, who now holds her husbands Michigan seat in the House, told Trump that her late husband would have been thrilled by the respect shown at his funeral and hes looking down on the ceremony.

He’s roasting next to John McCain, honey.
So much for impeachment! Thanks, Democrats.
Best President ever!
Then President Trump said he didn’t know...he’s probably looking down (paraphrasing). Cavuto just had the grieving widow on wearing black......
Or as Adam Schiff would say: “Prove it. In a court of law...”
Heard Lindsey say on Fox News, “John Dingell was a fine, fine man.”
Shut up, Lindsey, and build Trump’s wall!!!!!!!!
All they whiny liberals who complain about Trump not being nice, would have a lot more credibility if they weren’t lying dirt bags who have said NOTHING nice about Trump.
So, who cares. He made a joke. They just have to deal with it. Maybe they can act all somber and impeach him again.
Mrs. Dingell’s father in law (who she never met since he died in 1955) held that seat from 1933 till his death.
Then his son John held it till 2015.
Now John’s wife has it.
We don’t need to listen to these oligarchs, or weep for them.
Wow. Until I read the actual quote I thought Trump said Dingell was in hell. Talk about fake news.
President Trump is unhappy with Debbie Dingell because he extended courtesy to her during her time of loss, and she repaid him with a yes vote on the impeachment farce.
I don’t like what President Trump said. I think it was unnecessary. But, that’s President Trump, I accept the bad with the good, because there’s a lot of good.
In his later years, Dingell became an active Twitter user, and earned over 250,000 followers for his witty and sarcastic posts attacking Republicans, particularly Donald Trump.[78] He earned the nickname “the Dean of Twitter”.[79]
Can’t take the heat? Stay out of it.
As if the fact that she and her family are still hurting somehow determines his afterlife destination. Did the big bad owange man huwt your widdw feewings? Maybe it’s payback for voting for impeachment after he threw that swanky send-off for hubby dearest.
Dingle bells, dingle bells, dingle all the way!!!
Oh please! In black! Give me a break! Stop trying to get the public feel your pain! And I can say this since I am a widow also.
Dingell the son was an awful person. The only good in him was supporting the 2nd Amendment.
I love what Trump said and what he continues to say. All his detractors can roast in hell with dingleberry. If General Patton were our President this is what I imagine he would be like. This is war.
How does she know where he is? Why the assumption that this nasty careerist is not in Hell?
A regular Dingell dynasty.
