After that, nothing in the world prevents Barr from ordering that a comprehensive investigation begin on Ukraine corruption. Evidence that he cites for the very reasonable suspicion that such corruption exists among politicians here is (Quid Pro Quo) Joe Biden’s OWN ADMISSION that he basically blackmailed (with the threat of denying a $1 billion loan guarantee) Ukraine into firing a prosecutor who was investigating the very company of which Biden’s (rather unqualified) son was receiving $50K (or $83K) per month as a director.
IMHO, the Dems at the very top want Biden to lose the nomination, and to have a very Leftist nominee be Trump’s opponent. Why? Not because they are Leftists (they don’t really care, they just want power, however they get it and whatever they need to say to do so), but because that sets them up in 2024 to say to the Left “Hey, you guys couldn’t even beat Trump after he was impeached. You had your chance, now we’re going with a moderate.” THAT is the play - giving them a shot in 2024. They know that 2020 is a loser for them no matter what.

don’t forget that Trump also destroyed the Clinton cabal, which resulted in a completely hollowed out Democrat Party that essentially now has no power center and no set of levers that can be manipulated to keep the Democrat clown car on track, hence the clowns running amuck in the Dem Presidential Primary and the clowns running amuck in the House pursing a charade impeachment instead of trying to come up with some kind of platform with broad appeal.
Trump also destroyed the Bush cabal, which hollowed out the GOP as it then stood and eliminated disloyal elements, and then filled the GOP party structure with his own loyalists, and finally placed his hands on the levers of this new power structure as a consequence of his enormous fund-raising capabilities ...
