It does not seem accidental the hastily defined two articles of impeachment mirror the arguments needed in two lower court cases brought by the House Judiciary Committee.
It is likely both articles of impeachment, “Abuse of Power” and “Obstruction“, are designed to support pending HJC court cases seeking: (1) former White House Counsel Don McGahn testimony; and (2) grand jury evidence from the Mueller investigation. Because the full House did not originally vote to authorize articles of impeachment the House Judiciary Committee never gained ‘judicial enforcement authority‘. The absence of judicial enforcement authority was evident in the lack of enforcement authority in House subpoenas.
The House could not hold anyone in contempt of congress for not appearing because they did not carry recognized judicial enforcement authority. Additionally downstream consequences from that original flaw have surfaced in cases working through courts.
There is an argument to be made the rushed House articles are a means to an end.

Nancy doesn’t run the Senate. She doesn’t get to determine what’s a fair trial. Her statements show clear intent to ‘obstruct justice.’ Do we have a way to charge her with the crime? Can she be charged with obstruction for denying a ‘speedy’ trial?

Hey Nancy, There was nothing fair when we watched the Schiff Charade happenings. Now that a Republican is in charge of the Senate you should get the same treatment as Schiff gave us.
This can work as an advantage. President Trump has great instincts. He has said more than once that he believes the Supreme Court should judge the articles against the wording of the Constitution’s impeachment clause. I believe he is dead on. Assemble the best names in the legal profession, those who have seasoned practice before the Court and make the case to the Court while all the Pelosi clowns are playing games. Watch, she will change her tune in a heartbeat once she realizes what is going on, but I would tell her “Too late,” the train has left for the Supreme Court.
This won’t be the end of it, the Treasonists will invent something new between now and the election. Why? Because the Republican party does absolutely nothing, so don’t be surprised if we get coup attempt #3 in 2020. Maybe they’ll get access to his financial records even though they have absolutely no right to, and maybe there’s some minor discrepancy in it, and here we go again, charge him with a “crime” and of course Republicans will be hiding under their desks in their safe spaces sucking their thumbs in fetal position while once again the Treasonist clown steams right ahead.
