For only the third time in U.S. history, the House of Representatives has impeached a sitting president.
On Wednesday, the House voted almost entirely along party lines to pass two articles of impeachment accusing President Donald Trump of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress for his attempts to get Ukraine to investigate a political rival.
Hawaii Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard was one of the few Democratic holdouts the only one to just vote present. Two Democrats voted no on the abuse of power article and three opposed the obstruction of Congress charge.
After doing my due diligence in reviewing the 658-page impeachment report, I came to the conclusion that I could not in good conscience vote either yes or no, Gabbard said in a statement emailed from her presidential campaign.

Come November 2020............
“VOTE DEM OUT”
TRUMP 2020
Brave, Sir Tulsi, ran away.
Maybe she can oil up her chest and go on Tucker so he can fawn over her and ask her softball questions.
Present? A real profile in courage.
If you choose not to decide you still have made a choice.
I will choose free will.
Of all the Democrats, she is the one I would support.
Happy to have info from FReepers on her failings.
Obviously, the Russians told her how to vote.
Then you should have voted no, Tulsi. Innocent until proven guilty. If you could not come to a conclusion of guilt, it means the case was not made and you needed to vote no.
‘Present’ in this important vote is a ‘Yes’ to Impeach. Gutless wonders abound in Congress.
Never trust her...she votes with Pelosi 95% of the time.
She’s Hawt...
Nixon wasnt impeached
@TulsiPress “...could not in good conscience vote either yes or no... I am standing in the center and have decided to vote Present.
What a coward - a sane person would have noted absolute lack of evidence and voted “Nay”...you straddled and peed all over your “principles”
She took the Obama cowardly way out, voting ‘present’.
