“Congress enjoys one of its highest ratings of the Trump era, now at 27%...”

They MUST have over-sampled Dems as usual, to get that result!

I still think a good 75% of them on both sides suck! If this result is even remotely true, I’m sure the number is spiking due to rabid Dems applauding Pelosi and Crew.

*SPIT*

Get back to work! YOU WORK FOR US, YOU TRAITOROUS POSs!

I'd give it 110% of the 'Rats suck (if they can be elected with >100% of registered voters, then >100% of them can suck.). I'd say 25% of the 'pubs suck. There are still a good number of Gohmert's and Meadow's (2018 Report Cards)

Years ago I took a course called Propaganda and Public Opinion. We looked at opinion polls in some detail. Regarding “MUST have over-sampled Dems as usual,” I figure that is unlikely as sampling tends to be done with land lines as cell phones are a less reliable source and I suspect harder to get numbers for. So many are fed up with junk calls they just hang up on cell calls they don’t know. Land lines tend to belong to an older more conservative demographic. Cell phones to the younger population. Also, a lot depends on exactly how the poll questions are worded. Pro Rep. polls will word their questions differently from pro Dem polls. Most polls have a projected error rate of 3 points above or below the actual numbers counted since the usual sample is from 1500 to 3000 responses. Below are several polls and articles from Fox, which favors President Trump.

Fox article on Gallup Poll (pro Rep.): https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-approval-impeachment-poll

Fox poll reported by USA Today: https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2019/12/15/trump-trails-biden-sanders-warren-buttigieg-and-bloomberg-fox-poll/2656647001/

CNN compares results of Fox versus CNN poll results: https://www.cnn.com/2019/12/16/politics/fox-news-polling-trump-analysis/index.html

Newsweek looks at other’s results: https://www.newsweek.com/fox-news-host-stunned-fox-news-poll-showing-majority-support-trumps-impeachment-1477436

These were the first 4 articles listed when I asked Google for “fox poll on trump and impeachment”. It appears the Fox poll(s?) sampled about 1,000 people which has a 3 or 4 percent margin of error. If this holds for the 2020 election then Trump again might win with a minority of voter votes. Actual victory would then depend on who does a better job of winning the best Electoral College states. Hillary’s big mistake was not campaigning more in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania as she was advised to do by slob-of-the-people Michael Moore. He wrote the link below just before the 2016 election explaining why “Trump will Win.” His reason #5 is especially relevant. Granted many people voted for Trump to “shake up the system”. The question now is how many are happy about the results of that shake-up? How will they vote this time??? Inquiring minds want to know. ;-)
