Retired judge Bill Webster, the only person to serve as director of both the FBI and the CIA, is blasting President Trump's ongoing criticism of the FBI, calling it "un-American."
In a Tuesday interview with MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell, Webster said Trump’s description of the bureau as a “broken system” was “not true” and “could adversely affect the confidence the American people have in one of the most important agencies in government.”
“I hate to use that term, I was shocked to hear him use — it’s so inappropriate,” said Webster when asked about Trump’s description of FBI personnel as “scum” at a recent Pennsylvania rally.
“This kind of talk, people think ‘well, they must know what they’re talking about,’ but they don’t. Take the FBI for a moment. I don’t know of any organization I have worked with… that tries harder to do the right thing in the right way,” he said.

Considering the criminal acts the FBI and its agents have performed against Americans during this coup, no American should ever feel safe speaking to a criminal of the FBI. There isn’t a single FBI employee who is not guilty of the crimes of the FBI.

Trump is not needed to spread distrust of the agency. They're perfectly capable of doing that on their own.
The FBI has a long history of politicizing their legitimate function themselves.
It is the height of hypocrisy to claim that Trump's legitimate complaints about the FBI's misdeeds are not American.
If anything is "not American", it is the FBI playing loose and free with the rules of surveillance in order to spy on the president of the US.
