“The FBI’s handling of the Carter Page applications, as portrayed in the OIG report, was antithetical to the heightened duty of candor described above,” Rosemary Collyer, presiding judge with the U.S. Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, wrote in an order released by the court.

In other words - “Harumph, harumph!”

I’m thinking the FISC judges are also ideologically corrupt SJW leftists like the heads of the FBI and CYA.

This CYA effort is too little, too late.

Now they’re just worried the FISC will be abolished, and they’ll lose their 200K/year do-nothing rubber stamp gigs.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

it ain’t quite that simple travis.

what just happened with Judge Collyer’s ruling is a big boomer, imo.

Reason why: Chief Justice of SCOTUS, John Roberts is supposed to preside over the Senate impeachment trial of President Trump.

as Chief Justice, Roberts is also responsible for supervision of the FISA Courts.

Today’s action has put Roberts in a situatin where he may have to recuse himself from the Senate impeachment trial (if what I’ve seen posted is correct)

will be intersting to watch this play out.

Roberts is controlled by blackmail, IMHO.

On large matters, like switching his vote on Obamacare, he’s under control.

When it comes to big issues, he’ll obey his masters, lest his secrets be revealed.

Those old “men’s health club” party photos, stuff like that.

she is not going to shelve impeachment. They are going to move forward and then pound on it every day that President Trump was impeached. They and their MSM will use this to undermine everything President Trump does going forward.

4 other justices gave the same opinion as Roberts on Obamacare. Singling him out just doesn’t fly.

Besides being very damning for the FBI/DOJ, this memo is also a CYA for the FISA Court.

The American Public was fully aware in January 2017 that the Steele Dossier was bogus.

Why didn’t a FISA judge ask the FBI/DOJ about Steele Dossier in the subsequent reauhorizations?

Very good to see this. Helps show the need for the Durham investigation.

If impeachment is about Ukraine, what does FISA have to do with it, unless the president brings it up as some part of his defense? Seems unrelated (though not insignificant).

I like this line:

“A finding of probable cause to believe that a U.S. citizen (or other “United States person” as defined at Section 1803(i)) is an agent of a foreign power cannot be solely based on activities protected by the First Amendment. “
