You may be right but I feel that the "deep state", unelected bureaucrats, will not let the Democrat Party or the democrats fail.
They fear the light and after Trump wins 2020, the attacks will go up exponentially.
They have to smear or kill him or face another republican president in 2024.
I am hoping that, after Trump wins, the full court press of prosecutions will begin starting with Hillary Clinton and her email crimes, and continuing through Comey, Brennan, Clapper, McCabe, Strzok, etc. I would even welcome a military tribunal for charges of treason so that the trial can be free from overtly political influence as much as possible.
I would not prosecute elected officials such as Schiff, Pelosi and Schumer because, regardless of their blatant partisanship, they are acting as elected representatives. But all those involved in crimes against this country while in unelected federal jobs deserve to be punished for their treasonous behavior against this country. They should at least get what was done to Gen. Flynn.

They might wanna be real careful with the second option — the last time the deep state did that, POTUS did not change parties and the operators got the quagmire in SE Asia they wanted so badly...
