Obama, Hillary, and the rest of the dem party used the security organs of the state to spy on, set up, and harass a political appointment. The goal was to depose Donald Trump. The congressional dems are still trying to carry the ball over the goal line.

Consider where the dems come from, California, New York, the coasts and a few other urban centers. Trump's support comes from the rest of the country. This is not a coup. This is a civil war.

I think those in the liberal political class were so convinced of their intellectual superiority and political sophistication that they thought a non-politician like Trump could be easily dealt with. Comey alluded to this attitude when he said he ‘just sent a couple guys over’ to take advantage of Flynn. It's the same kind of attitude and disdain that leads people to say things like “I could smell the Trump support” at Walmart. No one with that attitude should be anywhere near public office or in any position of power within a government agency.
