Giuliani says he has new proof of massive corruption in Ukraine involving Bidens
Washington Times ^ | December 16, 2019 | By Dave Boyer

Trump lawyer Rudolph W. Giuliani says he’s uncovered proof of “extensive” corruption in Ukraine, including “clear” proof of money laundering by Burisma energy company and Hunter and Joseph R. Biden.

In a series of tweets, Mr. Giuliani said his trip earlier this month to Ukraine “garnered witnesses & documents which reveal the truth behind this impeachment,” which he said includes no wrongdoing by President Trump.

“Evidence revealed that corruption in 2016 was so extensive it was POTUS’s DUTY to ask for US-Ukraine investigation,” Mr. Giuliani tweeted, days before the House prepares to vote on impeaching the president. He said impeachment is part of a Democratic “cover up” of what he found in “hundreds of hours” and months of research.

Yes, but because Biden is a Democrat candidate for President, it is an “abuse of power: to investigate his corruption, or something.
Investigating the Republican 2016 nominee was OK in the Democrats’ book.

I was one of the FReepers who was not to happy with Rudy a while back and for the life of me my old dome can’t remember just why! My bad!
I lived on Long Island, and as such I heard NYC local news. And I warned Freepers at the time he was running for the Republican POTUS nomination that Rudy was a New Yawker - that what was “conservative” in NYC would not strike Middle America as conservative.

I knew whereof I spoke. But that was in the run up to the 2000 election - and the best we could find at the time was “W” (and my FR screen name tells you what I thought of “compassionate conservatism").

What I never see is any report that says that Hunter declared his overseas income on his taxes..............<<

Al Capone wasn't convicted of being a gangster or member of the Mafia......He was just a business man that didnt pay his taxes...

Ill be happy if Hunter does 20 yrs for Tax evasion.....Next case!..Devon Archer....followed by Paul Pelosi and Cris Heinz...to hell with tying them to a conspiracy...small fish in a swamp...I want to see the Treason Trials of the higher ups...

The issue is not whether it is appropriate to ask Ukraine to look at possible corruption by a US citizen. The issue is whether it is appropriate to slow down $millions in military aid while Ukrane’s soldiers are dying. Then asking the new Ukraine president to make a public statement that this investigation will be done, either saying or implying that the military aid will be affected by a public statement.

Makes sense.

Until the Ukrianians go on record that they’ll purge corruption, the Ukraine should not get a single dime of US taxpayer money.

I think Hunter’s Arkansas baby mama is going to get that answered for us. He’s got to reveal his income for the last several years.

From what I have been hearing, the new Ukraine president ran on an anticorruption platform and was elected overwhelmingly by people who agreed with him. Sounds like both the new president and the population have on on record that they want to purge corruption.

Do you really believe the Republican side of the aisle is so pure that the entire Senate will end up sending any criminal referrals to Barr?

You only need 51. But you may be right. There may be so much corruption that the vote is lopsided against investigating.

Agree. Until SloJo complains about the chafing problems caused by orange jumpsuits, then it is just background noise
