Lauren Boebert for Congress
Republican Lauren Boebert intends to Primary incumbent Scott Tipton for a Colorado seat in the House of Representatives. Tipton is in a district that as about 34% Republican, 29% Democrat and 37% independent. President Trump won the District with 52% of the vote in 2016.
Boebert is from Rifle, Colorado, where she has gained national and international attention as the owner of Shooters Grill, a restaurant where the staff openly carry pistols.
The restaurant has been popular in Colorado. Now Lauren is taking her flair for positive press to primary a Republican she deems to be insufficiently and actively conservative. From coloradopolitics.com:
The pistol-packing owner of Rifle's Shooters Grill is mounting a Republican primary challenge against U.S. Rep. Scott Tipton, charging that the five-term incumbent isn't doing enough to champion conservative values.
I was finally fed up enough and made the determination someone needs to be aggressive and passionate enough to give a darn, Lauren Boebert said in an interview with Colorado Politics. We have so many Republicans who run as conservatives, but they dont act as conservative Republicans.
Lauren gained more national attention when she openly confronted presidential candidate Francis Beto O'Rourke, with his openly avowed stance to confiscate Constitutionaly protected rifles, such as the popular AR15. She told him: Hell no, you won't take our guns.
Lauren points to a rising star on the Left, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and says she will fight for Constitutional rights and limited government. From Lauren:
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the Squad and the rest of these left-wing lunatics are taking a wrecking ball to our country while our current representative stays utterly silent,

She has a good chance in the Primary.

I do believe Colorado is set for a bit of a return to the Right. The libtards made gains on the back of marijuana but its legal now so they wonot Be able to drive voters to the poll over pot. Meanwhile 2A issues will drive the Right to the polls. I have to admit, though I was born there I havent been back for more than a few days in 30 years or more.
Not guilty and we need more like her to run!
I wish there were someone like Lauren who could take on Diana DeGette (Pat Schroeder Jr) in the general.
Or Joe Neguse, or Jason (ArmyRangerArmyRangerArmyRanger) Crow.
Nice. Another looker. I still think Colorado is blue and we’ll lose the Senate seat. No excuse for a weak candidate. Someone has to step up and that’s the problem on our side. No leadership except in the WH.
i hope she is leading in the polls...
Lauren makes the point...Conservative chicks are hot!
God bless you, sir. Youre a true gentleman.

This is the system we need to use and primary many incumbents out so the GOP becomes more conservative.
The key is for conservative voters to show up for the primary vote....because that is where they fall down often.
All drop dead gorgeous.
Now that Colorado actually has a primary and not a caucus, hopefully things will change a little.
We will, because Cory Gardner is a weak, no spined piece of garbage. I can't wait to vote against him.
Is nobody primarying that gutless squish?
Would anyone have a chance if they did, or does Gardner have too much cash (and what tiny amount of toughness he possesses will reveal itself ONLY against a fellow Republican in a primary) before he turns hard left again and lets a Rat easily unseat him in the general?
Like most states it depends on how much influence the big city has over the rest of the state... Once the big city population grows too disproportional to everywhere else you wind up with Cali, NY and IL...
“Primary” has become a verb?
