I’m going to start a rumor. I’m going to say that Trump plans to abolish the Republic, and turn the country into an hereditary absolute monarchy.Believe it or not, that would make some folks on this forum very happy. And, to their credit, they do have a credible case, although I strongly disagree and prefer the tumult of a Constitutional republic.

Add to your rumor: Trump is going to deputize the NRA, or define the NRA as a National Militia with powers to arrest and detain,Not to mention, since the Constitution actually does allow Congress to arm and discipline the militia, King Trump will actually take that provision as a traditional item of his reign and run with it. An item in his defense budgets will supply funds for the NRA Militia.
