OK, what is the delay?
Following a legit stop a State Police Officer asked me if I know how fast I was going? I really didnt and said so. The Officer showed me the radar gun. My only thought was D@mn I didnt know this car could go that fast. I was so proud. Yes I was ticketed but was treated quite fairly.
Absolutely agreed.
Many years ago in Texas i was pulled over for speeding. The officer asked me why. I said, truthfully, I was late for an AA meeting. He let me go.
I am waiting for the next time l get pulled over for speeding. Aside from carrying, which I already understand how to react, I want to hear “ do you know how fast you were going?” Because I want to reply “ the real question is “do YOU know how fast I was going?”
So - a cop who pulls a car over for a broken tail light can’t ask things like:
“Why is there so much blood on the back seat/”
“Is that girl that’s trussed up and gagged on the back floor still alive?”
Or - smelling booze and pot smoke, “Have you been drinking or doing drugs today?”
Makes perfect sense to me..........
NYS just starting allowing illegals to get driver’s licenses.
Bring on the intrusive questions.
3.5 nanoseconds.
Ms. Watson strikes me as an immature, highly emotional, overly sensitive, whiny and extremely self-centered person. She referred to herself countless times; it got old quick.
Its hard to take someone like her seriously. I turned off her childish rant about a third of the way into the video.
A less dramatic and more objective approach would have made her complaint more credible and watchable IMO.
Interesting. I stumbled across her channel a year or two ago and have found the vast majority of her stuff most informative, and often entertaining.
Please explain to me how anyone could relate a recent personal experience without self-referencing. I, me, my and mine are rather important in that case, are they not?
Or is it that you have no problem with her Israeli boyfriend being declared inadmissible, because he was special forces?
She posted that little rant after hours of harassment and detention following a 12 hour flight. After a flight that long it takes me about 3 days to recover, nevermind the border hassle. How calm, cool, collected and wholly professional in presentation under identical circumstances *could* you have been?.
You seem to have no complaint with how she, an American citizen, was treated at the border simply because a border official decided to be an officious twerp. Incidentally, she’s on OUR side of the political fence, which you would have eventually figured out with a tad more tolerance.
Yes, she was a bit whingey in that video. I’d be pretty angry myself. My rant would likely have been less eloquent, as I would likely have lapsed into using far less polite terms at certain points in the diatribe.
No matter our opinion about her, her treatment by the authorities there was deplorable. She and Avi broke NO laws, yet were treated like common criminal trash, and Avi was barred from entering the country unless he buys an indulgence (waiver of inadmissibility: approximately $1000, up to 1 year wait, and no guarantee it will be granted, plus lawyer fees).
To me she comes across as a sensible young lady with a legitimate beef. It appears you think otherwise.

She is supposedly a journalist. As such one would expect a little more in the way of professionalism and less emphasis on self-centered histrionics than she exhibited. But I guess the latter “sells” better.
Diatribes bore me. In that respect we clearly have different views.
I find it telling that you accused me of intolerance and sprinkeled in a couple of not so thinly veiled ad hominen attacks just because I was not as impressed by her video as you though I should be. I hope you realize that that kind of response in itself exhibits its own sort of intolerance.
I’m canadian too, an they treat me like sh*t most times regardless if I have a Canadia passport. I learned some Canadian green card holders told me thru the years they treat dual citizens and green card guys like crap. It’s like those idiot canadian border guards telling us we should not be Americans lol.
