I agree...the thought process of some posters are well, at best, questionable.
What kind of leverage would anyone have over him now? Could he lose custody of them? Those “kids” are now 18 or 19 years old.
There is a rumor that Roberts is a closet gay, not that there’s anything wrong with that. But for some reason, he doesn’t want that made public.
Yup, one stumble in the trial and it will end up being a circus. End the entire fiasco ASAP. Go after the criiminals later.
I think if they dismissed quickly and then stated we are now moving onto the peoples business which is USMCA, health care reform and any new trade deal with China.

This is just what the Dems want. A quick short dismissal so they can bludgeon the Republicans all the way to the election that “Trump was guilty and Republicans didn’t want to expose him”. There has to be a trial or they win.
Agreed. The Democrats are scared stiff about what would come out in a Senate trial. When have they ever made recommendations for President Trump’s benefit. This is psych ops.

The proper response to any such decision should be “open fire” by the people. Those who survive should be hanged. Dreams, dreams, I know.
This trial needs to be over with quickly. The GOP Senate is made up of the worst kind of cowards. Trump will be making a big gamble betting these slugs won’t turn on him. I pray Trump doesn’t put any trust in them.

I think it should be dispatched with quickly. If it is later proven (by Barr, Durham and Guliani) that there was good reason to investigate the Biden’s, I would appeal for relief of Impeachment charges to the supreme court. Be nice to not have to hear the word debunked every time the Biden scandal is mentioned. There may also be good reason to employ a special council.
That was what I had seen. I hesitate to post it because I have tried and can’t re-find the series of pictures I saw. If it is true and his wife and family are unaware, there would certainly be leverage.
The wild cards are Barr and Durham. Once the current investigation ends there will still be the “impeachment” conspiracy and crimes to be investigated. Will Barr look at the obvious felonies committed in this run up to “impeachment”? Of course, no sooner does this impeachment end before the next one begins. Exposing them will not stop them. None of us here on FR have the ability to think like the vile, illegal, treacherous scum of the DS and Democrat party. We will continue to be surprised and amazed at what they will undertake next.

I think a lot depends on the upcoming report by Barr and Durham. That could set the stage.
I still want a nice, long, trial - with all the real criminals being forced to testify. A quick trial will leave CNN and the Democrats able to claim that all the crap about Hunter Biden, the Deep State, and the rest, was just a ‘conspiracy theory’.

Initially, I wanted the president to get his trial and call his witnesses. Now I want a quick dismissal. Over and done with and move on.
Every witness that would have been called in the trial can be exposed through Barr/Durham. They are the same players. Barr/Durham can also expose the crooked Republicans in the process....proving that they want blind justice.
