If the GOP senate goes along with this Stalin show trail and convicts then sadly I would have to conclude both parties would have to go. The current government would be illegitimate and have to be removed. That government would have thrown out a legitimate president, disinfranchised 63 million American voters and made your vote worthless. That government lock, stock and barrel would have to go or we would be at the point where Kruschev’s prediction of communist victory over the USA truly happened.

Which 20 Republican Senators would vote for impeachment. I am fairly confident that the senators from my state, Blunt and Hawley, are no votes. Thoughts, anyone, on senators from your states?

I think he will propose a Senate Censure of POTUS Trump as a compromise saying that the POTUS didn’t act Presidential or some mealy mouthed accusation.
But at the same time the GOP Senate has convinced me over the years they'd much rather operate in the Minority than the Majority...So there's that...

He submitted a resolution to the Senate GOP caucus to advise the House that, given the nature of the proceedings in the House, that the Senate would not consider an impeachment arising out of such proceedings to be legitimate.
That resolution did not pass.
His kids are nearly if not fully adult now....what can they do to him if his kids don’t co-operate with any investigation?
A Fakebook post from a self-described "Moderate" Democrat friend of mine once again illustrated that he will buy whatever bullshiff is slung out the by Stalinists in the House. He was even fantasizing about extra impeachment articles next year.
My conclusion is that anyone who can be persuaded that the Impeachment Farce is a bad joke has pretty much reached that conclusion already. The true "fourth-stage" Trump Derangement Syndrome patients are going to hold fast no matter what facts are presented or how manifestly unfair and even creepy the House Democrats act. Screw them--let's get back to work on actual real work for America.
