Thank the Lord that our founding fathers devised a system that keeps the country's leader isolated from removal by the simple action of the opposing party. The example of British system (and its copies in other Western countries) shows how easy it is to take out the leader by just a single vote of no confidence. So even though impeachment is part of the process in the US, it requires a second step: Conviction by the other house of Congress.
I’ll be disappointed if Trump doesn’t win all 50 states followed by indictments and trials of those involved in these unconstitutional and illegal proceedings.
