The committee was on a 30 min break at the time when Mitch appeared on Hannity. When the break was over, Hank Johnson entered into the record Mitch’s comments. Then about one hour later Nadler declared the vote for Friday.

More TV time shouldn’t have been the reason. (although they are terribly inept) They were in prime time in 3/4 of the country, and in the east coast in the 11pm news hour. Couldn’t have been better exposure.

Perhaps they did NOT want all those available eyeballs to see it. Far fewer will witness it Friday. Travel plans would likely be interrupted for all members.

I suspect something else.

Just watched Doug Collins on F&F. He thinks Nadler wanted the vote to take place during tv hours. He said no reason to postpone because they know how they’re going to vote. They’ve known all along how they’ll vote so this is solely just for tv face time.
