Shalom Friends,
This past week the Jewish community of New Mexico was honored with a visit by the Israeli Ambassador to the United States, His Excellency, Ron Dermer. Ambassador Dermer spoke to our community in the most passionate and intelligent terms about modern day Israel. Everyone in attendance was truly awed by his cogent and heartfelt talk in which he shared much more than a canned speech. He spoke from the heart and shared in a very candid manner, the tachlis, the essence, right now, regarding Israel.

governments positions on a variety of domestic issues and international relations. Sadly, some segments of the American Jewish community are no longer talking with each other. In addition, the BDS movement, which is nothing but a veil for antisemitism, has misled some members of the Jewish community to become witting and unwitting supporters.
In this environment of fracture, Ambassador Dermer gave a compelling call for unity, and a return to the basic, historical love of Israel that has been a mainstay of Jewish consciousness from time immemorial. His message felt transcendent and timeless.
“He spoke from the heart..”
Falls on deaf ears to the New Mexico democrat majority.
Some have been here a long time. In Northern NM there are quite a few. Or was a while back.

Sorry for the excess posts!
The Bible includes both the Jews and the Christians
There are many Jews for Jesus
Regardless the Torah or old testament hold tremendous wisdom for mankind
Have some music from a Messianic Jew singer and love it.
The Lord has taught me there are a lot in His body that surprised me! Great lesson for me!!
Gave me a new perspective on His Church, the Body of Christ!
I could say all good, except for the part about “His excellency “
Really ?!!
I saw Blazing Saddles on the tube today...
I lived near Abiquiu from the late 50’s to 1970 and there were Jews in Santa Fe and Los Alamos.
Their descendants are still there.
Around Mora and in that area there were a lot.
Some good people.
You’re right about Mora. Thanks.
I remember my Dad looking at some cattle around Mora and I thought the people we met were Mennonites and he corrected me.
There are lots of little places like Mora and Ojo Caliente. as examples, that hold interesting, unusual people.
Bookmark.
They’ll still vote Democrat...Who cares?
What I have found is that the Jews also have much wisdom for Christians and mankind. If you get over those who claim to be Jews and are not.
El Paso, TX, which is really New Mexico, has a Jewish community of around 5,000.
