Well, it looks like some efforts have paid off. In an unusual update two days after the IG report was published, the IG modifies the report content. See Update Notification Below:

Clarification Changes and removal of Redacted dates for FISA warrants. They look small, but major on intent. I'm sure the MSM will report these ASAP

I was wondering why they redacted the dates in a thread from yesterday.....a few posters thought that perhaps not to give away which FISA judges were involved

the question is why did Barr unredact them today?

Rosenstein is reportedly going to be “asked” or subpoenaed to appear before the Sen. Judiciary Committee sometime soon.

If he squeals, in order to avoid jail time, a lot of lower-ranking heads and balls are going to roll. It will be interesting to see which rats “rat” out first.

The CTH article explains the redactions as an attempt to cover up the Senate (SSCI) cover up of the Wolfe affair (pun intended). I’m totally guessing, but it could also be Wolfe got a deal to rat on people.

In any case: yuge reason for such a small redaction.
