These Jews in J.C. are from Brooklyn. They have been priced out of Brooklyn now. A modest brownstone there goes for Two Mil.
They are very strict Orthodox.

I’m surprised they’d want to live in that part of Jersey City; it is really bad. I remember when they started fleeing NYC (when Dinkins was mayor) and recall many went north to Rockland County - a very different environment.
Neighbors that I’ve heard interviewed didn’t seem to think there was tension between them, but also didn’t indicate there was much interaction either.
