I’m sure there is tension between white hipsters and the black underclass (beyond the obvious race-hatred, which would seem one-sided considering the whites will enter those areas); blacks tend to see the arrival of hipsters as the writing on the wall - their days are numbered.
In NYC there is a lot of tension as Asians move into new government housing in some parts; last year the news had some gibsmedats bemoaning the fact that the Asians were taking “their” new apartments.
In Britain "Asians" means Muslims, like over here "teens" means nonwhite youthful offenders. Are the Asians in question in the UK mold, or from India, China, etc.?
