Totally different the House committees. The Chairman does not cut people off to control the message.

Sen Maizie Hirono: Democrats Have a Hard Time “Connecting” With People Because Of “How Smart We Are”
Poste By Ian Schwartz, December 6, 2018

Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI) said Democrats have a difficult time “connecting” with voters because of “how smart we are” that “we know so much.” Hirono was interviewed by journalist Dahlia Lithwick at the ‘Bend Towards Justice’ conference in Washington, D.C.

“We’re really good at shoving out all the information that touch people here (points to head) but not here (points to heart),” Hirono said of Democrats.

“I’ve been saying it at all of our Senate Democratic retreats that we need to speak to the heart not in a manipulative way, not in a way that brings forth everybody’s fears and resentments but truly to speak to the hearts so that people know that we’re actually on their side,” the Senator said.

“We have a really hard time doing that,” Hirono lamented, “and one of the reasons it was told to me at one of our retreats was that we Democrats know so much, that is true. And we have kind of have to tell everyone how smart we are and so we have a tendency to be very left brain.”

To the extent that Carter Page was part of the investigation, yes, but the FBI started the investigation on the flimsy tip from the Australians.

I wonder if he investigated that tip. There’s been reporting which suggests that Downer has claimed he didn’t say several of the things that the FBI says he told them.

When asked why there was only one Criminal referral given the scope of misdeeds, Horowitz just implied that THE ENTIRE REPORT has been transmitted as a Criminal referral!

Thom Tillis was great too.

Mazie Hirono is still a seaky sick underhanded fool.

And Blumenthal is still a Reptilian. He seems to have a few extra lower teeth to chew more little scurrying animals.

The Democrats have been caught with their pants down leaving them trying to claim that there was no bias in the FBI or the Justice Department and that the investigation of Trump was justified.. Obviously it is a CYA ploy to cover for democrat swamp rats involvement within the FBI and the Justice Department. Also painfully obvious to me is that democRats continuing the subterfuge claiming that Strzok and Page were both low level employees that had no input in decisions and their personal bias was not relative. Otherwise Horowitz could not outright claim that he found no bias in the FBI and Justice Department efforts illegally pursuing the attack directed toward impeaching Trump. Yet at the center of the Flynn case fiasco is Strzok and Page which could very well cause the charges against Flynn to be scrubbed.
“Released text messages between Strzok and Page show that on February 10, the same day that news broke from “senior intelligence officials” that Flynn had discussed sanctions with Kislyak, Strzok told Page that he had updated the 302 form to reflect her edits. “https://www.nationalreview.com/news/doj-admits-in-michael-flynn-case-that-fbi-mistakenly-identified-peter-strzok-notes/

Actually, the Truth is that the Russians and All other foreign nations do NOT manipulate elections.

THEY do Exactly as we (USA) do— they run an INFLUENCE OPERATION, on Voters, based on constantly gathered intelligence.

That includes working also to influence other influencers in a target country, that is in departments and institutions (ex: like the “Media Complex”).

Ernst: “We’ve got to do better.” Is that the best you’ve got, Joni? I’m sure Horowitz is trembling with fear.

if you alter an email so you can illegally get a warrant in a super secret court.. then you are spying,

Not really. If you do that. You are plainly committing a crime.

If you observe someone or someone’s communications secretly, you are spying. That holds true whether or not the spying is justified.

The whole point of getting a FISA warrant was to get authorization for spying. If they weren’t going to spy, they didn’t need a FISA warrant.

“Didn’t Horowitz say *several* of these liars are still employed by the FBI??”

Yes, he did. I took it to mean that all of them, except one, are still on the job screwing the American people.

Only after he’d suffered a long illness and been dead for a week, then they put makeup and prosthetics on him for the funeral...badly.

"You would think his performance at the Kavanaugh hearings would have put a stop to this BS."

That's true, but I'm still waiting for him to investigate the leaking of Ballsy-Ford's letter from Feinstein's office like he promised he was going to do at the hearings.
