When Wray goes away, will Flynn fill in?
American Thinker ^ | Paul Murphy

Posted on 12/11/2019 1:40:28 AM PST by RoosterRedux

General Michael Flynn is about to be exonerated, Wray isn't doing the job, and the American people desperately need someone trustworthy at the FBI.

As various people have reported, FBI Director Christopher Wray seems to have lost President Trump's confidence in light of the process abuses headlined in the Horowitz report.

Assuming the impeachment nonsense dies in the House or is quickly killed in the Senate, President Trump can reasonably be expected to appoint a new FBI director fairly soon. General Michael Flynn is the right man for the job.

The Horowitz report makes it clear that the FBI repeatedly and knowingly withheld exculpatory evidence favoring each of the four nominal targets, so it's a good bet that General Flynn will soon be cleared of all charges. Nominating him for director of the FBI and thus forcing an immediate settlement of all outstanding issues through face to face negotiation between Flynn and Barr will benefit everyone involved.

Second, Durham's unusual response to the publication of the Horowitz report drives to an obvious, but also obviously speculative, conclusion: what the inspector general found was that the predicate for the formal investigation was extraordinarily thin, but arguably adequate if the people involved genuinely believed that members of the Trump campaign team really did threaten national security; but what Durham has is evidence that they did not -- because their efforts to attack the Trump campaign had started eight months earlier.

Well, you can't say this author isn't thinking out of the litter box.

Ha, ha! The Democrats would like that about as much as they liked Reconstruction. ;)

I would love for that loser to be gone. I got a bad feeling about him the first time I looked at him and he has done nothing but add to that bad feeling.

I think that shortly following Trump’s reelection in November 2020 , Wray will be unceremoniously dumped from the FBI along with other high-level trash that we are currently stuck with in the government. All “family business” will be settled,

Sounds more like he might be thinking inside the litter box.

No way is that happening.

Yep. I don't know if Wray is "deep state" or not, but he is definitely an insider.

BTW, did you know that Wray was born and raised in NYC. Went to Buckley School in NYC and Philips Andover before Yale (BA, JD).

He was also a partner at King and Spalding which was home at one time to the Sally Yates and her husband.

Wray should have been fired two years ago for withholding evidence, which he’s still doing.

Wray appears to be the last DS super hack at the FBI. I think it might be his finger in the dike holding the cascade back. Trump should give him a direct order to release something, then fire his a$$ when he refuses. It was disheartening to hear Barr express a degree of confidence in Wray yesterday. Rudy should have been the pick when Comey was shown the door. At that time the stooge media hadn’t yet been ordered to crucify him.

Lots of folks predicted the IG report would be devastating, people fleeing the country, people jumping out of windows, the entire Swamp drained, all of them in shackles-flip flops-orange jumpsuits. Doubt it.

However, if God willing, this scenario were to ever come true, HOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYYY MOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!

There ain’t not telling what would happen. DC could become a ghost town as folks headed for the hills.

This would redefine the term ........... Payback is a bitch!!

And at one time, both the US Attorney in Atlanta, Yates, and King & Spaulding, were very cozy with certain folks in and around Atlanta. Some folks went to prison. Some walked. Yates is as dirty as they come. King&Spaulding had no issues with any of it, until Atlanta stopped writing checks.

What took him so long? We knew Wray was trouble from the git-go.

ANYBODY that was harassed or charged or convicted because of this coup should be exonerated. And rewarded.

If Wray goes away then the FBI needs to go away as well. If the President can’t trust it then it doesn’t matter who he appoints to run it. It’s past saving.

I remember Flynn when he was director of DIA (and my commanding general). He is a very high speed type of guy. But would he want a job as FBI director, after having the job as head of DIA and then being framed and dragged through mud for three years?

I feel so bad for him.
