The Conservatives are gaining confidence daily: you can tell from their amplification of the red threat in the final yards of the campaign a dose of anxiety to galvanise their supporters. If they were genuinely anxious, they wouldnt be able to show it for fear of looking weak. They have plenty of evidence to support their self-belief they still have a clear lead in the polls. And, until Monday at least, they have survived a campaign with a gaffe-prone leader, which in 2019 is what we call a contemptuous clown spewing out race hate.
They will hear the talk of Labours superior ground army with equanimity. In the 2015 election, Ed Milibands campaign managed an estimated million contact points on the doorstep, for all the good it did him. There are rumours that Boris Johnsons camp fears tnt turnout and tactical voting.

Yes my British classmates from grad school are in their 20’s...the ones who vote are all ‘woke’ and the ones who are on the fence or even lean conservative don’t care. So yeah. *shrug*
The smart ones who still have fight left in them for their country tend to be older though. This is true.
Who knows.
Finally..who gives a ####?
We got our own problems here.
Sick of being that sick country’s cheerleader

Brexit was sort of a harbinger for Trump...
I live in Spain. The Brits over here (and there are a lot of them) are overwhelmingly Remainers because they don't want to lose all of the, ahem, benefits of being in the EU, mainly being able to use other EU countries like Spain as cheap retirement havens while still being able to get their "free" medical from the NHS. They would sell out their country in a hearbeat for that and most of them are older.
Ah. Makes sense.
The Guardian
“Brexit was sort of a harbinger for Trump...”
Not at all. He advocated such things way before Brexit. In fact, much of the strength of the Brexit movement of today is probably due to Trump.
Our historically best ally for 120 plus years and our own cultural birth mother
It behooves is to care how Britain goes
Very much
As well as other close or important allies
Trump with Boris or Nigel bodes for a better world
Or Trump with Bibi and reasonable Arab monarchs bodes for a counter balance to an Iran with nukes
And so on..
This stuff just helps ensure the right does vote.
It’s not surprising. Older people like to keep what they think they deserve. They don’t call Social Security the third rail of politics for no reason.
Significant job losses in British workers in the Alpine ski industry etc, who under EU rules can be employed locally on short-term contracts while continuing to be employed and pay taxes in their home country.
British-run ski companies employing mainly British workers have a business model based on this system, and a number of them are closing. This is a significantly-sized industry: 6.3 million Brits ski in Europe annually, mostly on trips run by British companies.
Spygate suggests otherwise.
Yes Christopher Steele dwarfs WWI and WWII and the Cold War and the War on Terror
Yes of course
Puffy, you’re a Corbyn fangrrrrl ? Tsk tsk.
