Americans largely do not answer phone calls from numbers not on their contact list and refuse to talk to people who come to their door.
There are no accurate polls.
You can make educated guesses by the numbers of people at their events, but some demographics work most of their waking hours and don’t go to anything so that isn’t accurate either.
I started using cellphones decades ago. Any caller who was not recognized didn’t get answered.
My wife got her first cell phone about a decade ago. Within a couple of days, she started not answering calls from who/what ever we didn’t know.
We got a non cell phone with caller id and blocker for our 2 former/now cable lines. We didn’t answer at least 12 unidentified calls today.
