A lawyer for Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee offered a summary of the case for impeaching President Trump on Monday, saying the president abused his power when he pressured Ukraine to investigate political rivals and obstructed the probe by blocking testimony from key officials.
The statement from Barry H. Berke came early in a crucial hearing at which lawyers for both Democrats and Republicans are making cases for and against impeachment. Stephen R. Castor, a lawyer for Republicans, later argued that Trump did not do anything that merits impeachment. The panel is now hearing evidence from lawyers for the House Intelligence Committee — Daniel S. Goldman for the Democrats and Castor again for the Republicans.

When word got out that Trump was checking on the Bidens’ activities in Ukraine,

Trump was on it like white on rice——US tax dollars were blanketing the Ukraine——
circling around from the US Treasury, to Ukraine and back into DEM coffers.

We must impeach the President for obstruction an investigation that should never have started in the first place. Probable Cause?!!? That is like sooooo yesterday.

The House can impeach for any reason that will garner 218 votes. There are no external checks.
Riddle me this Batman: If Biden hadn't decided to run for president, and therefore was not considered a political rival at the time of the 7/25/19 phone call, would the democrats still be on the road to impeachment? There would have been no alleged personal gain to Trump (not that he was even going there).
