The Pensacola Navy base shooter had been “infuriated” by an instructor who humiliated him by calling him “Porn Stash” in front of classmates, according to a new report.
Mohammed Saeed Alshamrani, who killed three young US Navy students in a shooting spree in Florida on Friday, had filed a formal complaint against instructor James Day in April, The New York Times revealed Sunday.
Alshamrani alleged Day addressed him as “Porn Stash” — spelled that way in the complaint — in front of at least 10 other students as they were being dismissed from a meteorology class.

For example, I know of one Israeli pilot who was named “Jewbacca” because he was an observant Jew (and so had a bit of a beard — albeit close cropped for the mask), almost too tall for the ejection seat, and was a bit hirsuit, in general.
Know him well, in fact.
I am opposed to mental littering on FR. Maybe consult with a parent or other trusted adult before posting ignorant stereotypes.
The places with infrastructure for training/flying NATO (or US) equipment just don’t compare in depth and ability than the USA.
There’s a reason I post from Nevada or New Mexico with frequency.
And bluntly, it’s a huge money maker for the USA. Most of the military “foreign aid” is spent right here in the USA.

Having trained a few Middle Eastern military officers and having worked on the 9/11 investigation, I can say with complete candor that Muslim men are just as enamored with porn as their US counterparts, if not more so. It’s pretty well known that the 9/11 hijackers spent a LOT of money on online porn in the days prior to 9/11.
Sounds like the two Americans that helped him with the complaint should be reviewed for a possible General Discharge.
Another one of the many downsides of islam: A complete and utter lack of a sense humor. None, zero, zilch, nada. Totally incapable of recognizing and mentally processing humor.

I spent 2 years in Saudi, 2013 to 2015 working for ARAMCO.
Every Saudi wanted to be the boss, none wanted to do any actual work.
If you needed anything done the smart thing was to go to their assistant, be they American, Brit, South African or Philipino who actually knew their job.
God help you if needed the Saudi to do anything during Ramadan when they were always tired, hungry and cranky. To ask for something, and hear them say “Inshallah” was the kiss of death.

Deer, actually. Buddy of mine hunts with a handgun chambered in .454 Casull. (Scope on top and everything.) Now, that’s not available in a Glock, though. 10 mm is about the strongest cartridge that Glock chambers... maybe .357 SIG is close.

Out here in the West we only use rifles to hunt deer. A handgun even in 454 wouldn’t have the reach at 200 yards.
To be honest I have hunted Mountain Lions with a handgun but prefer a rifle.
.……...good idea! I’ve spent a few weeks in Jedda, Saudi Arabia. There are no clubs with alcohol. They sit around and smoke some plant and eat Khat. Saudi is the most boring place on earth and they can’t drive. There’s a wreck on every corner.
As soon as a plane leaves Saudi Airspace, Saudi Businessmen, will basically consume all the alcohol on the plane.
