Sen. Romney says the Trump administration and Congress “must act without any delay” on vaping among the youth.
The Utah senator seeks a ban on the flavored vaping cartridges that appeal to kids.
The Centers for Disease Control says among middle and high school students who use tobacco products, 7 in 10, or 4.3 million, of them say they used flavored tobacco products in 2019.
Vaping cartridges are available in flavors like mint, candy, fruit, or chocolate, the students say.

Looks like any other drug which has positive and negative effects. Which in my opinion should be over the counter.
What stood out for me was positive effects are some of the most pressing issues we have today for kids.
such as

What in the HELL is up with Romney and vaping, this ASSHAT is all over this like a rabid pit bull, I wonder what the hell he is invested in that vaping products are hurting his investment!!!

Understood; but soon (if current rates continue) 100% of adults (18 year olds and those that follow over time) will be addicted to nicotine, not just children...with time it won’t be “the rest of us”—it will be all of us.

Have I ever posted how much I dislike Romney? My tag line has been that way for a while. Well, I do dislike his stupid, corrupt, cultish, dumb ass. I really wish Utah would do better.

Vaping a nicotine product has no real dangers dependent on what the carrier fluid for the nicotine is, that is aside from the Nicotine itself which is addictive. I love a cigar on occassion.
Nicotine is not the problem. The problem is what the hell else they put in the carrier fluid and possibly the carrier fluid itself dependent on what it is.

Vaping is killing state government’s tobacco settlement revenue, so vaping must itself be killed.
If Mittens says do something then the best course of action is to do exactly the opposite of what he proposes and failing that do nothing
I don’t like vaping but I can tell you what’s behind the hype. vaping is replacing cigarettes’ in the population that still smokes so states are starting to lose tax money ...this is combined with cheap unsafe vaping products that are used to deliver THC coming in from china. almost all of the cases of damage to the lungs by vaping products has been from the Chinese vaping products that are being used to deliver THC.
On my list of priorities for the Fed Behemoth to tackle, vaping is no. 18,496,392.
Imperative Federal government action on vaping is kinda advanced thinking for Willard.
I don’t see that it’s any of the government’s business.
Are legislators investing in legalized pot and criminalizing their main competitor? Follow the money. (By the way, I’m against both substances.)
Once again Romney does not respect the constitution. This is a state issue.
