“Trump’s gotta get impeached! Trump’s gotta get thrown out of office! Trump’s gotta get convicted.” That’s all CNN did. It’s all MSNBC does. They make no pretense of covering any other news unless it can somehow be tagged to the effort to get Trump. Well, “CNN’s ratings have collapsed to a three-year low during the week of November 25th,” a three-year low while what has been going on? While the Democrats and Robert Mueller have been investigating Donald Trump!
While the Democrats and Robert Mueller have been working out a way to impeach Donald Trump, while CNN has been devoted to destroying Donald Trump, they have succeeded in destroying themselves. “Fox News increased its prime-time audience by 6%. MSNBC lost about 35% of its audience, but didn’t hit a three-year low.” But the networks that are all anti-Trump all the time, the bottom has fallen out. Fox prime time has increased.
“CNN not only hit a three-year low, the least trusted name in news,” that’s CNN, “fell to 18th place in prime time. Fox News was third. That’s 18th place! You could say, “How is this place still on the air?” They’re on the air because of hatred! They’re on the air because their management hates Donald Trump. Jeff Zucker. They’re on the all because all they have is this rage and hatred — and a bunch of genuinely IQ-challenged, stupid hosts. So here are the average numbers, prime time:
Fox — 2.2 million. MSNBC — 1.3 million. CNN — 643,000.
In total day, which is basically 6 a.m. to midnight, Fox has 1.33 million. This is an average. It’s not the grand total. It’s an average at any one time, a snapshot of people watching at a moment. Fox has 1.33 million. MSNBC 781,000. CNN 539,000. CNN — in the middle of what ought to be earth-shattering eyeballs, can’t-turn-away-from-it news, the impeachment of a president (it’s only happened four times) can barely attract half a million viewers, and the bottom continues to fall out.
So, folks, be of good cheer. Understand that most people watching that don’t want to see it. Most people watching it are not being swayed or persuaded by it, because Donald Trump is doing exactly what he said he was gonna do. He’s draining the swamp, he’s exposing the swamp, and so all of this irrational, delusional hatred is exactly what we want. We want people to see it, we want people to be affected by it — and they are seeing it, they are being affected by it. They are turning it off.
Well, I do my little part by tuning away from the news channels whenever I am at the gym, lol.
CNN maybe “destroying itself” but it will still be there- won’t go out of business- unless and until Jeff gets tired of his hobby network.
AT&T owns CNN. Just so everyone knows.
Happy to report I have not watched one second of CNN or MSNBC in 2019. I would delete those channels from the my cable list if I could.

You can see why democrats are screwed up. If you put a person in a room with no windows and only a tv with CNN playing, you’d come away a different person too. Best thing they could do is take a dose of Rush every day, might cure ‘em.
I haven’t watched any television in 7+ years. Stepping away from PROGRAMMING for that long, you really see how slick/sick they are. They are the best in the history of media. A visual connection is a very powerful connection. DEPROGAM yourself. YOUR results may vary.

CNN gets subsidized by foreign aid kickbacks. Everybody gets a cut.
So, while on it’s face it appears to be bleeding viewers, it’s quite happy with current arrangements.

Fox viewership is slightly greater than the sum of CNN and MSNBC. Reflective of the divide in the country.
The trouble is, as I understand it, is much worldwide viewers rely on CNN for their news.

Another theory is to use logic and attack “the media.” Because the only difference between a “liberal” and an “objective journalist” is that the journalist is employed as a journalist, and people whom journalists call “liberal” are not employed as journalists.There is absolutely no reason in logic to accept the claim of a journalist that he is objective just because his friends all say so. How would they know?

Rush should be ashamed of himself for putting out such garbage. He should know full well how CNN makes it’s money if he’s going to talk about their ratings.
CNN brings in about a billion a year in Carriage Fees alone. That’s the $1.00 a month every subscriber to cable or satellite TV pays to CNN, 90 million of them. 90 million times $12/year - a billion in revenue for just showing up and not selling Ad #1. I don’t know what their costs are, but CNN has 3,000 employees worldwide, and the carriage fees alone translates to $333K of revenue per employee. That would put them in the top 20 of most industries, and bear in mind that they make money many other ways on top of these fees, including the sale of ads. Watch CNN and tell me if there are no ads running, regardless of their ratings.
People should educate themselves about how things work instead of listening to BS from anyone, Rush included.
I watch a minimum of news (Fox) 1 hour or so in the morning. I listen to Rush and Hannity for about an hour or so.
I use tv and streaming tv for entertainment. I find lots of entertaining movies and some series that are worth viewing. I’ve been known to binge watch long run series like sopranos and walking dead(well the first 4-5 years before they jumped the shark). Nothing wrong with some tv.
