A bomb threat was reported at Patrick Air Force Base in Florida on Friday and the area was evacuated as authorities were investigating, the base said in a Tweet.

Patrick AF base is huge. It is actually a beautiful marina. Right on the ocean it makes Sandals look like a park and ride, it’s insane that an AF base is on this property.

I’m working at an AF base in the FL panhandle (as a contractor). I saw the Pensacola shooting come over my personal e-mail. Nothing on my official e-mail at my desk.
