Left-wing activists plan to use Friday in Washington, DC, to march and “shut down business-as-usual” for the banks and financial institutions they say profit from “the climate crisis and immigrant detention.”
This is the fourth time this year a group of hard-left D.C. protesters has planned to cause gridlock during the morning commute to draw attention to its climate cause.

I never understand why these protest marches seek to disrupt people’s everyday activities.
Do they really think they will persuade anyone to the rightness of their cause by disrupting people’s lives?

There is no climate crisis and the detention is for illegal aliens, not immigrants, unless they are also criminals.
Actually, I am against detaining illegal aliens or criminal immigrants for any longer than it takes to put them on a plan, boat, train, bus, etc. to get them back to their own country.

I never could really understand that stupid phrase, “white privilege.”
Until I started paying close attention to these asinine marches, then it finally registered – You have students, usually white, funded by their parents or taxpayers who have enough time to attend these stupid marches...Voila, and there it was right in front of me all these years, white privilege. Poor little rich kids who sponge off of others and have enough time to march in between bong hits and naps and there you have it, white privilege.
When we have them all in one place like this and DO NOTHING we miss a precious opportunity.
