(Recall that unqualified Hillary Clinton sat on the board of Wal-Mart when Bill Clinton was governor)

Yup. Stretch it out for a few months. Warren, Booker and Klobuchar would not be able to campaign. Call in about a thousand witnesses and have them share their feelings and presumptions.

If the Senate lends legitimacy to this charade, it is complicit. This should be dismissed immediately as the insult and ambush to the nation it is.
Why would it matter if they are proven what they are, again. The media will defend them and cover it up.
The thugs will reconvene and start planning another hoax.

Johnathan Turley testifying under oath in the Senate trial would be devastating to the Dems.
Trump's team should also be able to get 'discovery'. That would open the Dems up to all kinds of problems.
This can of worms could end up hurting the Dems more than it would hurt Trump.

. If the House of Representatives says we're going to impeach, then the Senate should hold a trial. Linda should already be holding hearings with Shiftshow and Quidpro testifying as well as the whistle blower.
Then dismiss.
And Starr is being stupid. Since he is a trial lawyer he knows that the road to trial is perilous and fraught with the potential for dismissals, like have factually unsupported or legally deficient claims. You only get to proceed to trial if you have a genuine issue to try that can lead to a disposition of the matter placed before the trial body.
